Day 1 - Perth to Denmark
Tingle Forest, Tree Top Walk, Denmark
This morning we stop for tea/coffee at the 'Woolshed' at Williams, located along the Albany Highway. This drive between Perth and Albany is an historic route that was used by early settlers and mail couriers Cobb and Co. The bustling rural towns along the way still bear all the trademarks of traditional country settlements.
From Williams, it’s off to Denmark, a delightful town on the banks of the beautiful Denmark River surrounded by towering Karri Forests, idyllic rolling hills and countryside. Upon our arrival into Denmark, enjoy a relaxed lunch in a local café, then it’s off to the Tingle forests for a walk to see the Giant Tingle Tree. With a girth of 24 metres, it is the largest living eucalypt known in the world.
Our next stop is the remarkable Tree Top Walk, to take a bird’s eye view of the Karri and Tingle forest and stroll in the Valley of the Giants.
Then drive to Albany to our overnight stay.

Day 2 – Albany to Perth
Albany, Natural Bridge and The Gap, The National Anzac Centre
After a relaxing breakfast, we drive a short distance to the Albany region. Albany, a port city, is the oldest European settlement in Western Australia, and has a fascinating, rich history which has been preserved with British and French connections.
We will visit the Natural Bridge and The Gap at Torndirrup National Park, which has stunning views of the southern coast. The Natural Bridge and The Gap are granite formations caused by the gradual wearing away of the rock by the Great Southern Ocean.
A highlight of this tour we visit Mt Clarence to see the Desert Corp Memorial with views over the Princess Royal Harbour and King George Sound. The National Anzac Centre is dedicated solely to honouring the Anzacs of the First World War. Set within Albany Heritage Park, the Centre offers visitors a deeply personal connection with the Anzac legend revealed through interactive multimedia displays, unique artefacts, rare images and film, and audio commentary. This is a ‘must do’ whilst in the region!
After lunch visit Mount Romance Sandalwood Factory the leading producers of Pure Australian Sandalwood oil and sandalwood beauty products for over 15 years.
We will have you back in Perth 6pm.
