Getting to Monkey Mia
The closest airport to Monkey Mia is Shark Bay Airport (MJK), located 18 km (11 miles) away, with a drive time of around 13 minutes. The drive from Perth takes just under nine
hours. Due to the lack of public transport options in Monkey Mia, it’s recommended to hire a car if you are not part of a tour.
